About Me

Me, Myself and I...
Me? What am I doing here? How did I get here? Who am I? What do I want? What planet am I from? Do I even exist? Why is the universe expanding? Are there other parallel universes? Why do we live in four spacial dimensions? Do the forces of nature unify at high energies? What was the early universe like? Is supersymmetry realized in nature? What causes the symmetry to be broken? Are strings really the fundamental building blocks of nature? Why is the universe accelerating? What determines the vacuum energy density? Why is space-time so flat? How do we explain the apparently accausal energy fluctuations of the early universe? What gives particles their mass? Why is charge quantized? What is the source of dark matter? What is our role in the cosmos? What is the structure of the universe? Questions and more questions...
Well, I guess I am supposed to tell you something about myself. Let's start at the very beginning: Shortly after the Big Bang, when the cosmic goo had not yet manifested itself as matter, and the energy density was so large that all the forces were unified... Uh no, that's too far back...
I guess you could say that in my former life I was graduate student working in high energy particle physics. I enjoy working on the really far out there ideas like supersymmetry, the higgs mechanism, and extra dimensioned theories. I enjoy pondering about the unknowable, the origins of the universe and the meaning of existance. I am one of the few people that believes the universe did not originate as a hot dense goo of energy as some have predicted, but rather from a cold singular state of emptiness. Can this help us to answer the fundamental questions such as why do we exist?
While I previously took on the form of a graduate student, you could say that now I am a part of a shared consciousness traveling through the various and infinite universes. This shared consciousness is like an intricate web linking all living beings, plants and animals, from this galaxy and others, and possibly between other universes as well making us all interconnected and unseperable. It is a form traveling all possible paths, all possible thoughts and all possible emotions, and is simultaneously realizing different representations of self while searching for an understanding of the meaning of existance.
Is there a common fabric which binds us together, gives us life, and allows us to experience reality? Is the universe and everything in it is just a manifestation of this emptiness? How would we know?
