Philosophy

We are learning, through physics and other sciences, that we are all interconnected and inseperable. Rather than being composed of individual atoms and particles the universe can be seen as a system of interacting quantum fields. From the viewpoint of field theory, we are all made of the same cosmic energy that flows through the universe. We learned of the Big Bang that described a singularity that exploded into energy and matter that formed into all things. We have speculated that this singularity may not be a singularity at all but arises due to a process called inflation. As the universe accellerates rapidly, particles arise from the vacuum through a dynamic Unruh effect. According to String Theory, there may even be other dimensions to the universe. While some of the dimensions have expanded, others may have contracted releasing giant amounts of energy. While we seem to be confined to four dimensions other particles may be manifested within higher dimensioned manifolds called branes. It may also be possible that space-time itself is an emergent form arising from these branes. We have expanded these ideas to include the universe as a whole, as a space-time object of all possible paths which forms the basis for all existance.

In the beginning there was emptiness, out of emptiness arose matter, energy, and space-time; this form of emptiness has evolved into a complex ordering allowing for life and consciounsess. Its from these higher dimensioned manifolds that properties of nature begin to arise. When we strip ourselves of all thoughts, conceptions, and the ever persistant mind, emptiness remains. It is the subtle essence through which all things rest upon.

The Cloud and the Ground

A cloud floats above the water with an impermanent form reflecting on its inner purity. That which evaporates into the vast emptiness of sky.

An ocean stretches across faraway landmasses. Deep in understanding like an awareness that is vast and open.

A river flows like the complex stream that is life itself. Turbulent flows of chaos streaming from the inner depths of being.

A rainbow returns to the universe like the transcendental essence that exists only as pure thought reflecting from walls of water droplets.

The earth provides us with the ground and soil through which all things grow. The un-replenishable provider that never stops giving.

We are grounded, we are aware, we are pure entities of consciousness evaporating into a ceaseless form. A transcendental essence in search of knowledge and truth that exists only within emptiness.

A quantum universe,
an explanation of the physical world,
a window into the microscopic realm,
a substance transient but with form,
a lack of inherent existence,
a collection of self-interacting wave-particles,
non-linear patterns with resonant energies,
amplitudes and phases adding together,
quantum entanglement of dfferent states,
non-local effects which seem to violate causality,
a single all encompassing object,
a sphere of emptiness in higher dimensions than we perceive,
an infinite singularity with an unreachable origin,
a pure light expanding outwards,
the time evolution of baryonic matter,
a symmetry breaking that allows things to exist,
matter particles and quanta spewing from the void,
self manifestation out of emptiness,
a quantum state of existence within a nonexistent reality,
a conceptualization of the mind,
the ultimate emptiness,
that with which everything rests upon,
a timeless coherent state,
all possible paths,
all possible thoughts,
all possible emotions,
the true nature of self,
the nature of all things,
the quite stillness,
there is nothing and it disappears into oblivion.
